Car needed

My name is Daniël, I am 43 years old.
Why this campaign?

On 8 Feb 2010, I was struck by a heart attack when I was driving my car.
I ended up in the middle guard rail with it. I survived it, my car didn't.

In the hospital they decided to implant an ICD, because I had unexplainable arrythmias.
I used to be a taxi driver, but in The Netherlands it's not allowed to drive a commercial truck, taxi, bus or emergency vehicle when you have an ICD implanted. So I got unemployed
Due to my physical restrictions (that were already there before the heart attack) it was hard for me to find another job.
I now have a full-time incapacity payment.
Unfortunately that is so low, that I can't save € 1000 in a short time.
I am now almost three years without car, but another problem lies ahead.
In The Netherlands you lose all your no claim bonus if you didn't have a vehicle in the insurance over the last three years.
As it would be very expensive to start from the bottom (I am on top of the ladder) to build up no claim bonus again, I will need to have a car in the insurance again before February 2017.

As I said earlier, my incapacity payment is too small to put money aside to save for a car.
That's why I am trying it here.
