PLEASE READ BELOW AND SEE EVIDENCE.IN IMAGES. WE HAVE ALSO EXTENDED THE CROWDFUNDER TO ALLOW US TO GET TO THE TARGET, AS WE HAVE A DONATION COMING THAT WILL TAKE US THERE. OUR NEXT MOVE IS TO RAISE RENT FOR THIS FAMILY TO KEEP THEM SAFE (AGAIN ALL RECEIPTS WILL BE POSTED ON HERE). TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SHARED AND DONATED TO THIS, YOU ARE AMAZING PEOPLE AND YOU HAVE CREATED HOPE FOR A WONDERFUL FAMILY.........THANK YOU SO MUCH.

My name is Jessica McCarnun and I work with families who find themselves in dire need of assistance. This story is about a family who need our help and support to stay together, and reside in the UK. David as we will call him on here has fought for our Nation for fourteen years and had to leave his duties early because of an injury he received whilst in the army. This was through no fault of his own ( that's why he receives a pension).

The transition was extremely hard for him and his family, and now they are being sent back to Fiji where they will be homeless. We have been informed of this and so have the family repeatedly.

This man has even been given the Queens Jubilee medal for his service, but is not allowed to call the UK his home unless he and his family apply for a visa fast. They do not have that money his army pension is only £600 a month and they have five children. With no course to public funding times are hard. Lets all assist them to security and safety so he can continue his treatment for depression.

Please read this below to get a grasp of the full story:

A man who has served our armed forces for over 14 years is now, through no fault of his own, homeless with his family.

Even though originally from Fiji, his wife and five children (three were born in the UK) call the UK their home.

They are being classed as over-stayers in the UK, and have no right to any support through the DWP or local authority, even though he put his life on the line to serve for this country.

He is a decorated Bombardier (Queens Jubilee Medal) that wanted to advance and serve even further in the British Army; sadly though he suffered an injury and was medically discharged . This deepened his depression resulting in him struggling to adjust to the outside world and the change of course in his family's life.

We are protecting the family's identity as the children go to school here in Wiltshire and are flourishing. They all believe they are British and feel so strongly about the UK. They love their home.

The family were placed in temporary housing after the Army discharged him, but as they didn't qualify for any assistance this came to an abrupt end through an eviction.

This is why they are now homeless with five children, one being a baby under twelve months.

With everything that they had faced in the past few months, plus being consumed with the changes they faced, no one realised their visas had run out. This is why I am coming to you for assistance, to keep this beautiful family together here in the UK, the place they call home.

They have no way of funding the £15,000 that's needed:

£2297 for each visa (5 of them)

£510 for the processing (5 of them)

(These fees were calculated by a charity for which we cannot name for confidentiality reasons, but we thank them for their assistance and advice)

I know this sounds like an unreachable amount for us all to raise, but I truly believe by working together we can achieve this.

The reason we have to try is without this money to fund the premium visa service for the five applications, the family will be separated by social services or sent back to Fiji where they have nothing. The standard service takes months, time this family do not have.

We have until 06/08/2017 to achieve this result. I hope you can help in anyway you can by donating or sharing this to any page or forum you see fit. This needs to be a team effort in aid of a family who gave up so much to support our nation.

He has the jubilee queens medal and has achieved so much - to find himself and his family in this situation is crushing him.

On 07/08/2017 a charity has offered plane tickets to send the family back to Fiji in order to stop them from being separated, and also because the family are now classed as overstayers.

If any of you know my work then you can trust that this case has merit and time is of the essence.

The money raised is going to a national registered charity called The Biscuit Fund, and will be kept safe in their restricted funds. This means that it can only used for the family. Please use the hashtag:

#ArmyFamily so that The Biscuit Fund know to restrict the funds for this campaign and have no admin fees. They are doing it out of the kindness of their heart.

If you cannot get through via PayPal please try the card option thank you.

This is going to a registered charity and all receipts will be uploaded, so you will see where the money has gone. Any amount achieved will go straight to the authorised organisation to process the Visas, if we do not make the target they will be flying back to Fiji with some money to help them.

Again thank you to the charity who we cannot be named for their aasistance/support on this matter, and for the verbal offer of plane tickets to myself and the family.

We hope the family do not have to go home, as fo this charity. As he has laid down his life for us, and they regard the UK their home.

We fully understand if you are not in a position to donate personally. You can still assist massively by sharing this crowdfunder and that in itself is amazing xx

I hope together we can truly change the stars for this family, as this situation is heartbreaking. He has served us for over fourteen years - now I believe we owe it to him and his family to make sure we highlight this case and make that target.

Please help save this lovely family who love the UK and have nothing and nowhere to go in Fiji. Please help keep these British children in their British schools. Please help us undo the injustice of a man who witnessed horrific atrocities fighting for us for almost fifteen years being denied the right to stay in the country he calls home.

Love and respect to you all x x

We Still Need To Raise The Fees But...

Update posted by Jessica McCarnun at 08:11 pm

Since we've had the offer of specialist legal assistance from an amazing lady. We've been informed the family can in fact stay here for a while longer. The original information that was supplied to us came from a charity that assists Veterans and we were extremely greatful for the help.
